USB-C Rechargeable
Built-in lithium battery · Charges via USB-C · ~6-month battery life
Battery-Powered Motorization
Every Altan shade is available with a whisper-quiet battery-powered motor. No electrician, no wall wiring, no renovation — just clean, cord-free operation controlled by a handheld remote. The rechargeable lithium battery is built into the headrail and charges via USB-C, typically requiring a recharge approximately every 6 months depending on usage frequency.
No Wiring Required
The motor runs on a built-in rechargeable lithium battery housed inside the headrail tube. Installation is identical to a standard manual shade — no electrician needed, no wall outlets, no conduit.
USB-C Recharging
When the battery is low, simply plug a standard USB-C cable into the charging port on the headrail. A full charge typically takes 4–6 hours and restores approximately 6 months of normal operation.
~6-Month Battery Life
Under typical residential use — opening and closing once or twice per day — the battery lasts approximately 6 months per charge. Heavier use in commercial settings may require more frequent recharging.
Handheld Remote Control
Each motorized shade ships with a dedicated handheld remote. Multiple shades can be grouped and operated together from a single remote for multi-window rooms.
Child & Pet Safe
Battery-powered motorized shades are completely cordless — no hanging cords or chains. The safest window treatment option for homes with young children and pets.
